HostMonster Review
HostMonster is owned by Matt Heaton who is also the owner of BlueHost. The two web hosts are using the same server, datacenters and man power. While BlueHost is quite pricey, HostMonster is a low-cost hosting provider. Other differences lie on the number of databases, email accounts and some minor features. HostMonster offers an easy to learn and use interface that allows the whole website building experience simple even for those with no html experience.

HostMonster offers one plan dedicated to cater to all hosting needs. The advantage? It spares you the time of calculating and comparing which plan is best for your needs. The disadvantage? Well it just leaves you no choice.
Single Shared Hosting Plan = $6.95 per month
12 months at $8.95 = $107.40 amount due at sign up
24 months: 7.95 a month = $190.80 amount due at sign up
36 months: $6.95 a month = $250.20 amount due at sign up

The BAD — Stuff We Don’t Like About Hostmonster
- Additional Set Up Fee of $30.00 on plans less than 24 months, and this is not refundable. Other low-cost web hosts have already waived off their set up fees so this is quite a turn off.
- Does not accept plans on a monthly basis like other low-cost web hosts. Plan is at minimum of 3-month period and the other one is at 6 months. The only way you can waive off the P30.00 set up fee is to go for the 24-month hosting plan. Some customers are more comfortable with plans on a monthly basis, and this is not at all impossible with other web hosts. Although some web hosts charge more for a monthly basis plan.
- Some customers say that their phone support is quite hard to reach although once you get in touch with them, they can efficiently provide you with all the information that you need.

Hostmonster has good overall service…
Hostmonster has good overall service I guess but sometimes my site is slow… I read up on it and I see something about CPU throttling used to slow down our sites if they’re getting too much activity???
It’s not all the time… quite rare in fact… But if I had to choose again, I’d probably get a different hosting provider.

Tried Host Monster already. Features…
Tried Host Monster already. Features and tools are okay. Been using Host Monster for almost a year now. Boostability for Website Analysis and Search Engine Submission Feature are great. I find them really advantageous. So I commend Host Monster for including them in their hosting package, I heard not all web hosts have them. As for customer support, well their team is pretty efficient. They may not get back to you as quick as you want them to every time you need them, but I think the more important thing is that they do. And when they do, they are really helpful and efficient. So I can forgive them on this one. But of course, it’ll be really better if they are 100% available all the time. I guess this web host has its pros and cons like all other web hosts, but I can definitely recommend them to friends. Although I am not really sure if they are the best since I haven’t tried other web hosts yet. But it’s great to realize that I don’t regret getting their services. Some people I know really despise their web host. I know it’ll be a real pain landing on such a lame host.

Features are okay. Price is very affordable. Control panel is pretty easy to use. Customer support is not so hard to reach, they’re even efficient for someone like me who can be an annoying customer who asks too many questions. Well, I got to do what I got to do, right? What makes HostMonster not so good is sometimes loading speed is not as fast as you want it to be.

My site is down today.…
My site is down today. And it’s pretty disappointing. I was very pleased during the first weeks since set up was fast and easy. I also like the features. I was able to create a business website that passed my standards. I liked what I saw but the thing is what can I do with a pretty site when nobody sees it because of downtimes? Well, it may be unfair to complain about this right away. I noticed 2 down times, they were pretty quick though and my website was up immediately. Still, it scares me that incidents like this will start to become often.

In JustHost’s history, the guaranteed uptime is at 95%. Us, users, cannot blame them because it is really hard to maintain a topnotch quality most especially if you have hundreds of thousands of needy customers. Well, of course, it is their responsibility to give perfect, or almost perfect service. Another problem with JustHost is that they do not offer monthly plans. This might be a problem for hosting enthusiasts that are low on budget. However, all in all, justhost gives perfect quality and a great deal on your money.

If you don't mind the…
If you don’t mind the $30 setup fee for less than 24months subscripition, HostMonster is right for you! Unlimited Bandwidth along with disk space that is unlimited as well, hostmonster is really a monster when it comes to hosting. others does not have the keen sense of accomplishment on domain services. however, hostmonster does because their number one priority is giving the customers what they want and how they want it.

the only thing that I hate on hostmonster is that it isnt that friendly in terms of finnancial scrutiny. If you are planning to use up a website that will only be up for a little less than 2 years, you will be charged 30 dollars for installation. However, besides that 30 dollar price tag, hostmonster is great. i was really skeptic at first, but when i tried it, all my doubts and worries flew away like a that has been clicked 2 mili seconds ago.
